For more than 25 years, Hans Henrik Høilund (HHH) has worked as design and project manager at Erik Møller Arkitekter (EMA), a distinguished architectural practice in central Copenhagen where for 15 years he was partner and owner.

In November 2012, HHH joined ELGAARD Architecture having worked with Peder Elgaard for more than 10 years at EMA, six of which were spent in management together.

HHH is highly specialised in managing projects and processes, and has special skills relating to the early phases of projects. He is experienced in analysing and understanding the nature of a given project, and in establishing coherence between client and user needs on one side, and the architectural possibilities of the project on the other. Understanding client and user needs as well as thorough analysis of a project’s potential have proved valuable in securing a strong vision for the project and its framework throughout the entire process.

HHH is an experienced leader with great insight and ability to steer processes, and establish collaboration between many types of stakeholders.

HHH is highly specialised as a client consultant and design manager for large and very complex architectural projects. Further, he has worked as lecturer at Copenhagen University, and as a mentor and as external censor at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture in Copenhagen.

HHH’s portfolio includes both public and private clients, and large and small assignments within the fields of new design and construction and transformation of existing architecture.

The projects range from large-scale planning and development of e.g. university campuses, and include schools, cultural projects and complex research buildings.
