Pernille Mårtensson and Peder Elgaard have had a previous eight-year work partnership between 2004-2012 while at Erik Møller Architects. Amongst others things, the team has collaborated as consultants on the masterplan and redesign of the former municipal hospital, which is now part of The University of Copenhagen.
Their collaboration has also included the conservation and development of 700.000 Sq. of the stately, historic building stock including Amalienborg Castle, Rosenborg Castle, Kronborg Castle, The National Gallery of Denmark and The University of Copenhagen.
Pernille Mårtensson has a master’s degree in building consultancy and asset design. Her professional experience ranges from that of building construction manager to the role of architect respectively, both with a focus within the field of our built heritage. Pernille’s expertise further strengthens the core competencies and professional profile of Elgaard Architecture.
Recently, Pernille Mårtensson has taken the role of building construction manager under the auspice of The Ministry of Defence, Acquisitions and Infrastructure and Copenhagen Municipal Properties. In addition to these responsibilities she has also acted as a client consultant to Bascon.
