Teamed up with Øllgaard Engineering Consultants A / S, Elgaard Architecture has prequalified for the assignment of restoring the Northern Side Wing to Det Gule Palæ, a yellow 18th. century mansion house, in Amaliegade, central Copenhagen. The building is part of the complex around Amalienborg Royal Castles, and is currently used by the administrative parts of the Royal Households. The current project is a comprehensive restoration which also includes the challenge of establishing a better flow and accessibility between the Side Wuilding and Det Gule Palæ.
In addition to Elgaard Architecture, Bertelsen & Scheving, KPF Architects, Rørbæk and Møller Architects, as well as Rønnow Architects are prequalified among a total of 15 applicants.
