Carlsberg Akademi has been longlisted for the 2026 Renoverprisen.

We are pleased to share that Carlsberg Akademi has been longlisted for the 2026 Renoverprisen.

This year, 139 projects from across the country were submitted, and 18 have now been selected for the longlist. The field is wide-ranging – from small residential projects to large-scale transformations – but they all share a common focus on giving new life to existing buildings.

Carlsberg Akademi is a listed building complex – originally built as a private residence by the founder of the Carlsberg brewery, J. C. Jacobsen – which has been carefully restored and transformed into a contemporary venue for meetings, conferences, and cultural events. In the project, we have worked to preserve the historic qualities while adapting the buildings for modern use.

The next step is the selection of six final nominees. The winner will be announced on 3 September 2026.

We are proud to be part of this year’s field and of the collaborative effort behind the project.
