Peder Elgaard to Speak at the Danish Association of Architects

At the Danish Association of Architects’ network meeting on 22 May, Peder Elgaard will speak about Elgaard Architecture’s experience participating in the consultancy tender for the reconstruction of the Old Stock Exchange (Børsen) following the fire.

Dansk Erhverv, the owner of the building, opted for an unconventional tender model without extensive prior programming. Instead, the process was carried out early and based on a few specific deliverables and a personal interview round.

The network meeting will explore what this approach meant for the selection of the consultancy team and how it might inspire both public and private clients. There will also be discussions on how interviews and site visits can function as tools in negotiated tender procedures and how to remain compliant with procurement regulations in practice.

Date: 22 May
Time: 13:00–16:30
Location: The Danish Association of Architects

Participation is free of charge but requires membership of the Association’s Competition and Tender Network.
