Pre-Qualification for the Restoration of Danmarks Nationalbank

Elgaard Architecture is pre-qualified to submit a tender for the exterior and interior restoration and renovation of Arne Jacobsen’s iconic building for Danmarks Nationalbank in Copenhagen, Denmark. Danmarks Nationalbank became a listed building in 2009, and the project includes restoration of the building’s natural stone facades of Porsgrunn marble as well as restoration and upgrading of the interiors to accommodate modern banking operations.
Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter is the lead consultant for the team. Elgaard Architecture is a sub-consultant together with Buro Happold, Dansk Energi Management, Fire Consultant Frederikke Schmidt and Landscape Architect Marianne Levinsen.
A total of three teams have been pre-qualified.
